Nominee's Bio: Sparkle Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization established to reach out to orphans and less privileged children. With passion to help every child live healthy, access education and work towards achieving their full potential by providing more holistic care and support for each individual. We want to see every child being able to have access to education irrespective of background, class, or social status. IMPACT IN NUMBERS ● 3600 Children provided with educational resources including school Bags, uniforms, writing material, exercise books, textbooks, lunch bags, school shoes etc ● 3,300 Children supported through our outreach programmes with food items, clothes, shoes, bags, toys, games and other household necessities. ● Facilitated access to eye healthcare for 720 beneficiaries, provided 302 children with eye tests, eye drops and prescription glasses. ● 3 Schools supported with 200 pieces of furniture, 18 toilets renovated, ● 2 classroom blocks renovated in Ogun State. ● 2 Early Learning Nurseries Remodeled in Lagos and Ogun state. ● 110 children were trained in ICT skills including Coding. ● 18 scholarships were awarded. ● 160 Children and young people trained in different income generating skills ranging from soap making, shoe making, photography, bag making, baking and confectionaries, hair making, tie and dye, poultry, crochet etc ● Establishing solar-powered ICT center with 21 computers, projectors and a well-trained ICT tutor to deliver computer classes to 3 nearby schools in Isale-Oko, Shagamu, Ogun State
