Nominee's Bio: Rev. Sr. Jusinta Akua Kwakyewaa Osei hails from Akyem Aperade, Ghana, West Africa. She schooled in Ghana and obtained her Basic, Secondary and Post Secondary certificates. She has taught in a number of institutions in Ghana, currently teaching Clothing and Textiles at St. Francis Senior High/Technical School. She holds Master of Education -Administration in Higher Education from the University of Cape Coast. She was adjudged “Winner- Education and Community Welfare” during the 2024 edition of the Joy News Impact Makers Awards. She received the “Judges Commendation Award for Teachers, Schools and Educational Professionals” during the 2023 edition of the Global Education Supplies and Solution (GESS) awards held in Dubai. Prior to her global recognition, she was adjudged the 1st Runner-Up, Ghana Teacher Prize 2021, 2nd National Best Teacher, 2015 and 2nd Eastern Regional Best Teacher, 2013. She has renovated and refurbished a 3-Unit Kindergarten block at Akyem Aperade, created a Clothing and Textiles Resource Centre for St. Francis SHTS, distributed over 3000 textbooks to schools in deprived communities, made series of donations to deprived communities and orphanage homes in the form of clothing, toiletries, food items and cleaning materials. She visits and donate to the Senior Correctional Centre- Ghana Prisons Service , organized Blood Donation exercise to supply blood to blood banks, organize get-together for the sick and aged in her community annually, embark on Girls sensitization and empowerment programs and donate sanitary pads to girls in schools in deprived communities, solicited for library books and computers for selected schools and care for poor and needy students. She is a hardworking, disciplined, creative and experienced teacher, who for the past twenty-three years, been rendering selfless services to make life meaningful for her students, colleague-teachers and the community at large.
