Nominee's Bio: Her name is Betty Kakoma,an advocate for humanitarian programmes and a journalist who is a presenter at Radio Christian Voice working to build a strong community. She happens to be part of initiatives that have been advocating for sustainable development goals as an advocate working with her media skills to end poverty within various communities of humanitarian focus in Zambia and across the Globe. Betty has worked with a number of organisations,just to mention a few 2410,Media Network on Child Rights and Development,Advocacy for Child Justice,Zambian Voice,the Global Youth Network,Coureagous Youth Team and Heavenly World Peace Restoration of Light among other organisations.She has participated in various national dialogue and outreach programmes both at local and international level.Betty has been so instrumental in conceptualizing programmes and project concepts that aim to end poverty within the communities and has mentored over a 100 young people who are making huge change within various communities as a Youth Mentor. She has also participated in prominent activities such as national election sensitization and monitoring,policy dialogue meetings and community outreach and research reporting programmes .She is a committed sustainable development goals youth advocate ,governance and peace journalist who is outstanding in creating impactful results that have influenced policy change and built strong networks across the globe. Betty is dynamic following her passion which goes beyond borders.She is the most hard working young lady believing in impactful change in seeing Sustainability and development in vulnerable communities.
