Nominee's Bio: Matey Wisdom is a teacher by profession who holds BEd Mathematics from the Valley View University and a certificate in career counselling from TUCEE Institute of Technology and has devoted his time to educate and advocate for quality education. His passion for teaching and coaching young students on career prospects has seen most of his students in high school including STEM and TVET education. He has taught Science and mathematics for almost a decade and has good cordial relationship with his students. He teaches with games to expose his students to the practical ways of performing science and mathematics experiments. As a result of his selfless dedication and support to education has earned him accolades and recognitions signifying his advocacy for quality education in SDG4 which includes; the Best JHS teacher in the Eastern Region in 2022, the best UNESCO delegate at the International Youth Diplomacy Conference-2023, the Youth Minister of Education under the Youth Empowerment Consortium. He Is The Youth For Change Nominee Under The Ghana Prestige Award, the Sustainable Development Excellence Teacher Of The Year Nominee Under The African Youth For Sustainable Development, Youth Change Maker Of The Year Nominee and the Youth Teacher Of The Year Nominee Under The Ghana Youth Excellence Award. He has a vision of demystifying science and mathematics to make the Ghanaian educational system stronger and better.
