Nominee's Bio: GODWIN ANAFO APULLAH YEARLY BIRTHDAY PROJECT TITLE: The Kind Project MILESTONES: The Kind Project began in 2008 with an individual voluntary blood donation exercise at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) and continues to the present day. In 2019, The Kind Project introduced the Friends of Godwin A. Apullah's voluntary blood donation initiative at TTH, which continues to date. The Kind Project 2019 organized a free eye screening exercise at St. Monica’s Parish Church for parishioners in Nyankpala, Tolon District. In 2020, The Kind Project donated 200 pieces of sanitary napkins (pads) to Gburimani Junior High School and Yuggu D/A Junior High School in the Tolon District. The Kind Project 2021 facilitated the distribution of over 800 reading books to St. Monica's Primary and Junior High Schools in the Tolon District. In 2022, The Kind Project donated exercise books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, chalk, playing materials, and drawing books to Gurumanchaguyili E/A Primary School in the Tolon District, the phase two saw donation 50 sanitary cups to girls of St.Monica's JHS in Nyankpala and phase three saw the donation of over 200 menstrual cups to girls of Tolon SHS in the Tolon District. The Kind Project 2023 saw the donation of a brand new Sewing Machine to Sis Mariam Iddrissu, a clip-footed young lady from Nabilgu in the Tolon District Additionally, footballs were donated to community football teams, including Nabilgu FC, Kobilmahigu FC, and Tolon NDC Maligu Youth. In 2024, The Kind Project facilitated the donation of sanitary materials to over 130 girls of Faddliyya JHS and Kasuliyili D/A, to support them during their menstrual cycles and keep them in school.
