Nominee's Bio: Edward Kuuberme Naapong is a Public Health Nutritionist and co-founder of True Vision Ghana. With a decade of experience, he has spearheaded nutrition programs for vulnerable groups and conducted monitoring and supervision on public health programs. He has trained health workers and community members on optimal nutrition and WASH practices and conducts health education on communicable and non-communicable disease prevention through various channels. Edward has initiated projects aimed at improving health, wellbeing, and quality education, including the Reading for Life Project and Rearing for Life Project. He has supported malnourished families with animals, facilitated borehole installations, and led the Ghana Micronutrient Survey team. Currently, he works with the Ghana Health Service_Lambussie Health Administration, Upper West Region, and is a mentor, coach, and inspirer. He holds leadership positions in the Health Service Workers' Union and has received recognition for volunteerism and excellence awards. Edward is committed to improving the health of mothers and children and uplifting marginalized communities. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Nutrition from University of Health and Allied Science, Ho, Diploma in Nutrition from College of Health and Well-being-Kintampo and certificates in leadership and sampling techniques.
